Weirdest Easter eBay Item Ever

Since the beginning of this blog we have featured lots of food items shaped like different animals. In fact, many of these featured weird and bizarre eBay items have been popcorn, but this is the first that actually makes you think…. “Maybe I should bid on this item”. Then again maybe not. This kernel of joy for sale on eBay does actually look amazingly like the Easter bunny. It makes one wonder how many bags of popcorn had to be popped and carefully examined before listing this one for sale on eBay. Another thing that sets this auction apart from all the other corny auctions I have seen is there is actually a bid! Do I hear $1.04 for this popcorn masterpiece?

Punch me in the face for a bargain price of $3330 That is what the seller of this bizarre eBay has put up for sale. Along with the right to hit him as hard as you like, you will get to do it with video camera’s rolling so the moment can be preserved for all time. The proceeds from the strange eBay auction go to charity so his heart is in the right place. My only concern is he looks like a very likeable guy and after winning the auction and spending a few thousand dollars, I might feel very guilty socking him in the face, even if it is for a good cause. Either way, you have to give this eBay seller some major kudos for coming up with a new way to support his cause and presenting us with a bizarre eBay auction.

This is the first weird eBay auction that there really isn’t anything weird to speak of… except the price. As of 8:33 PM EST on March 24th 2009 a flexy straw is selling for $60.98 cents on eBay. Ordinarily I would have to say the seller is out of his mind and also out of his eBay listing fee, yet this item actually has 4 bids. Now this might just be a publicity stunt with the seller bidding the item up themselves to get people to visit their website, but honestly the bids look real. The only “features” the seller wishes to share with bidders is that the straw is indeed new and it is a regular size stwaw, “not one of those little juice box ones”. All I can say is this auction proves that eBay is the home of some insane bargains and some items that are simply insane.

Yet another weird ebay fried food item. This strange eBay auction is titled “McDonald’s Miracle French Fry Shaped Like A Boot” Now I have to admit that this fry does indeed look somewhat boot-like, but miracle might be somewhat of a stretch. I am always amazed that people plan to ship weird food items as is. One of the nice things about this particiular weird eBay item is with the perservative content on McDonalds food, there may be no need to do anything to keep it looking yellow and crispy. Long after humans have left this earth this strange eBay item with still look as good as the day it left the fryer.

This is a strange eBay item and a mystery all rolled into one. This medical instrument was found at an estate sale and is being offered to the public along with the question… what exactly is it. Its not everyday that eBay items present a challenge. So here is what we know:
- It was listed at the estate sale as an “antique handmade medical instrument”
- It is made of steel with hand-made rivets
- It measures 5 inches when closed and 9 when open.
Hard to say from the eBay picture, but disturbing images do float into your mind as to uses for medical mystery. Anyone want to take a guess what this bizarre ebay item is?

Today’s strange eBay item is a log. Not just any log though…. No this log is not shaped like the oddly common Virgin Mary or Jesus. It is blessed with none other than the Mercedes Benz insignia. Making the object even more valuable as a weird eBay item it forms this rare symbol not once, but twice. The seller feels that the shape was most likely carved out by ants. No, the ants are not included with the purchase, after showing their good taste they must have moved on to chew a Lamborghini symbol in the side of a large redwood.

Now I am admittedly a big fan of cheez-its and for that matter any extremely salty snack food so I may be a bit biased when it comes to this particular weird eBay auction. This auction for a giant cheezit definitely makes my mouth water. The seller believes that this is at least three cheez-its combined in one beautiful masterpiece of weird ebay food item lore. This monstrosity puts the rest of the box filled with average sized cheez-its to shame. Where normal cheez-its only have one small hole in the center, this mutant has five. My biggest wonder is how the seller was able to resist the urge to find out if this auction still fits in the bite size category.

What a funny yet bizarre eBay item for this week. You’ve joked since you were in middle school. Little did you know that there actually is an “ugly stick”. This clever eBay seller has found the instrument that all the beautiful girls have always avoided and those who haven’t well….. they got hit. Weird eBay items are often high on strange and how on humor, but this item definitely got a few chuckles out of me. One incomplete piece of information about this item. The seller does not make it clear if it is a new or used ugly stick and if it is used, how many victims it has claimed.
