Today’s bizarre item teaches two good lessons on how not to sell successfully on eBay. The auction is for a “corn-flake shaped like a turkey”. The first is that eBay items that are seasonal should be sold during their season. If there is ever a time to sell a corn-flake shaped like a turkey, it is most definitely not in March. Second, the buy it now price for the auction: $195.00
Always make sure to set your price based on past auction history. Now since there is unlikely a very long list of turkey shaped items in eBays history(I checked, there are none), this is definitely a good item to start low to build up the huge demand that is surely waiting with bated breath. I sincerely hope the seller of this item has not already spent the proceeds he expects on this auction two hundred dollars of corn-flake boxes, since this listing’s proverbial goose is definitely cooked.

Not that I’m totally impressed, but this is a lot more than I expected when I found a link on SU telling that the info is awesome. Thanks.
