Stats on your eBay auction are often very hard to come by. Some eBay sellers choose to use a free counter placed on their eBay auction from any one of hundreds of sites. The problem with these counters is you have to show the whole world your eBay statistics and all they track is the number of times your auction page was reloaded. Now there is a great and even better Free eBay resource that you can use to track your stats: Statcounter.com

Statcounter.com gives you the ability to place a traditional counter on your page if you like or place an invisible tracking code into your listing. Which ever you choose, you have access to real-time statistics about the people that are viewing your auction. You can go way beyond basic information such as how many people have viewed you auction to look at important pacts like how many people have returned to view it again. And all of these statistics are completely free for the first five hundred visitors to your auction. After that, it still keeps track of all the analytics, but the more specific and detailed information requires a membership. Since few of my auction receive more than five hundred views, this has never been a concern for me. I use stat-counter for listings on Craigslist and other classified sites as well as eBay listings.
